Your Role…
The R&D specialist is intended to work on the project “SpotFlake: Spotting the Root Causes of Flaky Tests”, which is funded by the Luxembourg National
Research Fund (FNR). They will primarily work on designing and implementing solutions that assist developers in debugging flaky tests. Accordingly, they
can explore various techniques for the classification, reproduction, and root cause localization of flaky tests. As part of this project, the R&D
specialist will also collaborate with a postdoctoral researcher in order to build prototypes and proof-of-concept tools.

The team you will be working with:

* Yves Le Traon: Group Leader
* Mike Papadakis: Senior advisor
* Sarra Habchi: Primary advisor

Under the direction of the primary advisor, the candidate will carry out engineering activities as part of the SpotFlakes project. This includes
developing necessary tools, frameworks, and experimental setups; contributing to project deliverables, milestones, demonstrations, and meetings;
disseminating results at international scientific conferences/workshops and peer reviewed scientific publications.

Your Profile…
Minimum qualifications:

* Bachelor in Computer Science or related
* Master or engineering degree on a subject related to Informatics, or Software Engineering, or Computer Science, or Information Technology
* Commitment, team working, a critical mind, and motivation are more than welcome

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

* Industrial experience in software development
* Knowledge of machine learning and statistics
* Strong background in software testing

Language Skills: Fluent written and oral communication skills in English are required.
